Linc turned 4!

This tiny little guy turned 4! Ethan had school, so we let him do whatever he wanted during the day. He chose his usual, watching a movie/netflix for a little while and then we met up with Mart and took the little birthday man to lunch. We ended up going to Dickies.

Don't mind the blurry cell phone photos, for some reason it wouldn't focus all that well.

Me with my big boy!

Jade loved that they had free ice cream cones!

I had been asking Lincoln for a couple of months what he wanted his birthday cake to be. He kept switching back and forth and never made up his mind. Finally, a week before his birthday I ended up deciding to make the Sword of Omens (from Thundercats). Thundercats was Mart's all time favorite show when he was a kid and he passed that on to Lincoln. Lincoln LOVES Thundercats and Heman! He loves any form of weapon and even if there isn't one around, will make ordinary things into a weapon. We thought a sword cake would fit him perfectly.

It was my first cupcake cake, and it turned out alright. My frosting wasn't setting up right and started to melt off a bit, but it worked out okay and Lincoln seemed to really like it.

We had originally planned a lego party and were going to serve tacos (for taco tuesday!), when we switched themes, we just kept with the taco idea. It seemed to be a hit.

We love to make street tacos, and quesadillas for the birthday boy. He isn't a fan of tacos.

My nephew Jordan was able to come, and Lincoln was so excited to see him.

We just ate, hung out, played, opened gifts and had cake.

Lincoln is easy to please and was happy with everything. He loved having everyone there, he loved all of his presents, and I think he had a great time.

She loves balloons and was thrilled when she saw a huge bunch of them!

Happy birthday cute little man! It's hard to believe you are already 4 years old! You have grown so much and I'm so blessed to have you in my life.
