March 13

Thankfully, this month was a lot less stressful than last month. I wasn't ready to skin my children alive before I got out of bed. :)

The boys found the dress up masks and loved playing with them!

Ethan moved up a reading group and now brings home short books to read. He climbed in bed with me and read it to me.

Kya must have enjoyed the reading too. :)

Lincoln tried to be helpful and I went downstairs and saw he filled the dog bowl.

Jade is the most wiggly thing and is getting more and more difficult to nurse lately. She flops off my lap, stands up with her bum straight up but insists on still eating. If I move her head she'll yell at me ... and lots of other fun positions.

She also loves sitting in the highchair right at the counter and eating fist fulls of whatever I give her. :)

Ethan broke out the Zombie vs Hunter army men type figures and set them up.

..and Grandma gave Lincoln gum.

Toward the end of the day, things got more frustrating and I broke out ingredients to make a dirty Dr. Pepper. While I'm not a huge soda drinker, I kept hearing about them so I bought the syrup to try making them myself. They were quite tasty.

And, we cranked up the grill for the first time this summer!

Jade has a new night time routine. The boys go to bed and she comes and lays in our bed with us and picks on Mart for 10-20 minutes and then she'll go to bed. It's quite funny. Even though it gets mildly obnoxious having her grab your lips, nose, eyes, hair, etc. I think Mart likes his Jade time. :)

*She is still wearing a size 1 diaper, and it's not really all that small.
*She still wears 3-6 month clothes
*She says "mama!" and it's awesome! :)
*She loves to eat! When I give her a handful of cereal or something she'll fist it and shovel it in her mouth
*She is so dang wiggly. She never stops moving
*She is on the verge of crawling. She gets up on her knees all the time but hasn't figured out moving without falling over.

*She is definitely a Mama's girl, but loves to have her Dad in her sight at the same time.
*The boys are still crazy in love with her!
*I love having a little girl, she is my sidekick. It helps that she's always so happy to see me. :)
