Dance Party

One night while George and Ber were at our house, we were testing out a portable speaker thing we have for our ipod ... which turned into a dance party! Ethan would hold the speaker, while George, Ber and Mart danced around. (I was holding Lincoln).

Ethan had a blast...and I would guess that Ber and George did also. :)

My baby is growing up!

My sweet baby (yes, I still call him my baby) is getting so big! He needs to slow down!

My mom gave him this little wooden train set, and for his 2 minute attention span, he loves it!

He has had this sudden obsession with balloons. He's always liked them, but lately he just loves them. I took my ring into the store to get it worked on and he saw a balloon there and flashed a super cute smile at the lady and said "please!" and she caved and gave him a balloon. That little balloon had a crazy long life span for a balloon. Ethan insisted on having it above his head while he slept at night. Little goof ball.

As terrible as I felt about it, we had to break down and buy a harness for Ethan for Disneyland. He's just so active and there are so many people there ... I just couldn't risk losing him. To make me feel a little better about it, and to help Ethan like it more we made it his "pin lanyard" and he actually didn't mind it while we were there! He loved trading his pins with cast members.

Showing me all his pins for trading

I sure love my sweet baby ... even if I have to get used to the fact that he is growing up way too fast.

3 Months!

My little boogie turned 3 months! I can't even believe it.

Stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 4 oz (25th percentile)
Height: 23 3/4" (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 40.3 cm (25th percentile)

He's growing like a weed, but still is such a tiny little boy! Maybe it's just because I am used to Ethan the tank. Anyway, here are some 3 month photos:

I have a friend who is also my lactation consultant. She has been a real lifesaver. With Ethan, I did both breastfeeding and formula until he was about 3 months. I have been exclusively breastfeeding Lincoln and he is about 3 1/2 months old! I have to say, I'm pretty proud of myself. It was super rough at first...but we made it through.

One of the times she came over to help me, she gave me a few little presents. Just things like a pen, a reminder bracelet, a pair of socks for Lincoln ... and this cute shirt!

It matched perfectly with his little red cuffed jeans. :)

It's official!

It's official. Lincoln has been sleeping for a full 8-9 hours a night once he finally falls asleep! Hallelujah! It's been like this for a week or two now and I'm loving it. The only downside that I've seen so far is that he doesn't fall asleep until between 1:30am-3:00am so I can't sleep for that entire time, but at least I'm not getting up all night long anymore.

I love you my sleeping angel.

All about Linc ... again.

What else can I say? I just can't get enough of my little boy. I adore my other little boy too, he just doesn't hold still for photos as much anymore. So once again, this post is all about Lincoln.

Double Blessing, January 2nd

Because our babies were born so close together, Kace and I decided we would bless our boys on the same day. They are about 7 weeks apart.

We took a few photos a couple days before for our display table. Here are a few from that:

Tyler ALWAYS has his mouth open!

Mart was so nervous about the blessing, but he did a really good job. He's so cute with his boys.

Christmas at my moms

Christmas this year has been a little strange. It's not bad, just different.

Our schedules haven't worked out quite right so at my mom's house we have had to have 3 separate Christmas's, one that hasn't even happened yet. I guess that's a good way to extend the holidays...have Christmas 3 Sunday's in a row.

This is the first one, it was on the 26th. It was just my family, Ty and my mom.

Lincoln trying on his new boots from Grandma:

I totally love his little chicken legs hanging out with those furry boots.

Mart made my mom really neat blocks with the 10 commandments on them. They only weigh like 80lbs total! They look really awesome though.

And my mom spoiled us as usual with our Disneyland tickets (less than 3 weeks now!) a cricut and a double stroller to take with us! That will be so handy!

Could Ethan possibly look ANY bigger sitting next to him??

Christmas #2, January 2:

Ethan was totally in love with this piano! He loves anything with buttons. My favorite part was that it came with headphones. :)

Ty was playing pat-a-cake with Lincoln. You may not be able to tell, but Ty does not like babies...they make him really nervous...which is a little odd considering he has two little boys. This was pretty cute to watch.

Christmas part 3...coming soon. January 9. Pictures to come.

Christmas Eve

My mom has hosted a Christmas Eve party for as long as I can remember. We always get together and just hang out. For years and years we would just fry anything we could find and snack on that all night long, and ended up leaving with sick stomachs. This year, she decided we were going to change up the menu and we did homemade soups with fresh bread bowls from great harvest and we broke out the old chocolate fountain from my wedding. It was fun and none of us left sick!

My Grandma hanging out with Linc:

And what would a Christmas even party be without opening up Christmas pj's so that the kids can wake up Christmas morning in new jammies!

Jaden's pj's had a minor mishap which I thought was really funny. He pulled the first slipper out of the box which was a black slip on, and then pulled the second one out which was a brown moccasin. He kept looking at his mom questioning her thinking she had done it on purpose. She was totally shocked that they were wrong. It made me laugh pretty hard.

Everybody showing off their new pj's:

The last couple of years since my family has grown A LOT, each member of each family will draw a name and we just get them gifts instead of buying for everyone. Ethan had Karlin's name but she wasn't going to be there on Christmas so we gave it to her Christmas Eve instead. Mart has been planning her gift for probably 6 months and was super excited to give it to her. He built her her very own vanity. It turned out really cute.
