As of late

Jade just loves her Dad. This one particular night, she was struggling to go to bed. After many tries, I turned to Mart and he took a shot at it. I came back in a few minutes later, and he had crawled into her crib with her to snuggle. She loved it and calmed right now!

This winter, we had next to no snow. Only 2 good size snow storms that didn't last very long. Ethan compromised and built a small sidewalk snowman. He probably would have loved a huge traditional snowman, but he seemed perfectly content with his version instead.

Ethan doesn't get sick enough to stay home from school very often, but this one day he felt pretty yucky and stayed home to hang out. Stella kept him company while he lounged on the couch.

When Stella overheated from the blanket, Lincoln joined him instead.

Lincoln is such a character. I love watching him, even the simple things are entertaining.

This particular afternoon, he was just taking a diaper out to the trash can. It probably took him at least 5 minutes if not longer.

 

He loves to explore and takes his time with everything. When we send him to wash his hands, we are well aware that it'll be a good 20 minutes before he returns. Love that little boy!
