Ethan walking down the sidewalk holding his bucket. He wouldn't let anyone touch his candy bucket, he held it the entire time.
The first couple of houses we went to Ethan wasn't sure about what was going on or if he liked it. Once he figured out that if you knock on a door someone will open it and give you a treat he though it was awesome! He would barge up to the door and bang on it over and over again until someone opened the door and gave him a treat.
I love this picture because he's just so tiny and he was just banging away on the door before my niece and cousin even got to the door.
In my Grandma's neighborhood they have had a house that has a robot answer the door and they've had it since I was little. We took Ethan to it to see it again and it's pretty cool. He will roll up to the door and holds out a plate of treats, and then it talks to you and says "Happy Halloween!". It startled Ethan a little, but it didn't scare him.
Another one of Ethan's favorite parts, besides being given treats like crazy, was the fact that his bucket was full of treats and he could snack on them while he was walking.
It was a fun night and Ethan was so cute and so much fun to take trick or treating. Traves came with us too and we just hung out. In the end, Ethan had his whole bucket probably about 3/4 of the way full with treats, a huge pixy stick and a toothbrush. When we got home I weighed it to see how much weight he was carrying around the entire night and it weighed about 2 1/2 pounds! That's just under a 10th of his body weight! What a trooper.
