4 months!

I can't believe my little stink is 4 months old already! He's just getting too big.

Stats:
Weight: 13 lbs 5 oz (10th-25th percentile)
Height: 25" (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 41 1/2 cm (25th percentile)

He still wears 0-3 month clothes and select 3-6 month clothes. Most of them are too baggy on him. His 0-3 month pants are super loose on his waist, but I'm about to move up a size because they are turning into floods.

At his appointment, I found out that he still has an ear infection in his left ear. I was given a prescription for a stronger antibiotic, so hopefully that'll get rid of it and he'll start feeling better soon.

He reaches for toys and likes to hold them and suck on them. He hasn't rolled over yet, but probably because I don't encourage him too. Bad, I know. I know what happens when he starts to roll over..then he crawls, then he walks...and then he's like Ethan and never sits still. I'll take my time getting him going. :)

I started giving him just small amounts of rice cereal yesterday. He just had a small taste or two and thought it was strange. Today I did again at lunch, and he ate a small bowl and a half! He's getting the hang of it.

He's totally adorable and I love having him in my life. I think I am finally getting used to the fact that I have 2 kids. Crazy!

Valentines Birthday

Today is my moms birthday!

Happy Birthday! I hope that you have a fantastic day! You so deserve it. I appreciate all you do for me and my family. We love you and love having you close by. I know my boys sure love to go and visit you! Ethan wandered around the house all day yesterday trying to put on his shoes and get in the car to go see "Gramma".

We love you!

Coming soon...

Coming soon... several posts on our Disneyland vacation!

Sick Boy

Almost as soon as we got home from California, my little munchkin got sick. Well, he was sick in Calfornia, but he got worse. Monday he started getting gooby eyes, which gradually got worse as the week went on. By the next Monday, I took him to the doctor to get checked out. The poor little thing ended up with an ear infection in both ears which I guess kind of spread to his eyes.

$100 eye drops and 1 bottle of $4 antibiotics later, he is feeling so much better and his eyes look back to normal.

Mart

Mart.

I sure love this guy.

I love watching him be a Dad to both of my boys.

I love watching him be an Uncle.

I love that he's my friend and my partner.

I love that we can just be silly together and he totally gets it.

I am thankful that he works so hard to support our family.

I am so thankful he's in my life.

I love you.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Birthday Boy!

I cannot believe that my little monkey man turned 3!

3 years ago, January 24, my little 7lb 11oz bundle of sweetness arrived at 6:08pm and changed our lives forever. It has been such a roller coaster, but I wouldn't change any of it. We are totally blessed to have him in our lives.

He turned 3 while we were in Disneyland, so we had his birthday party a week before we left. He has been totally in love with Mickey Mouse for a while now (thanks to us getting him ready for Disneyland) so Kace made him a Mickey Mouse cake.

He was totally spoiled this year! Thanks to everyone who came to spend this day with him.

Traves hanging out with Lincoln

He finally has the hang of the whole gift thing.

My mom and me and Mart got Ethan a Nintendo DS for his birthday. It is to entertain him during Sacrament meeting and to help entertain him on the drive to California.

Mr. Spoiled Pants also got a little 4-wheeler, which he loves!

His loot! Thanks everyone!

Ryan and Kace. Ryan had cut all his hair off earlier this morning so he was a new man at the party!

Happy Birthday Ethan man! We love you so much!

Dance Party

One night while George and Ber were at our house, we were testing out a portable speaker thing we have for our ipod ... which turned into a dance party! Ethan would hold the speaker, while George, Ber and Mart danced around. (I was holding Lincoln).

Ethan had a blast...and I would guess that Ber and George did also. :)

My baby is growing up!

My sweet baby (yes, I still call him my baby) is getting so big! He needs to slow down!

My mom gave him this little wooden train set, and for his 2 minute attention span, he loves it!

He has had this sudden obsession with balloons. He's always liked them, but lately he just loves them. I took my ring into the store to get it worked on and he saw a balloon there and flashed a super cute smile at the lady and said "please!" and she caved and gave him a balloon. That little balloon had a crazy long life span for a balloon. Ethan insisted on having it above his head while he slept at night. Little goof ball.

As terrible as I felt about it, we had to break down and buy a harness for Ethan for Disneyland. He's just so active and there are so many people there ... I just couldn't risk losing him. To make me feel a little better about it, and to help Ethan like it more we made it his "pin lanyard" and he actually didn't mind it while we were there! He loved trading his pins with cast members.

Showing me all his pins for trading

I sure love my sweet baby ... even if I have to get used to the fact that he is growing up way too fast.

3 Months!

My little boogie turned 3 months! I can't even believe it.

Stats:
Weight: 12 lbs 4 oz (25th percentile)
Height: 23 3/4" (50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 40.3 cm (25th percentile)

He's growing like a weed, but still is such a tiny little boy! Maybe it's just because I am used to Ethan the tank. Anyway, here are some 3 month photos:

Gift

I have a friend who is also my lactation consultant. She has been a real lifesaver. With Ethan, I did both breastfeeding and formula until he was about 3 months. I have been exclusively breastfeeding Lincoln and he is about 3 1/2 months old! I have to say, I'm pretty proud of myself. It was super rough at first...but we made it through.

One of the times she came over to help me, she gave me a few little presents. Just things like a pen, a reminder bracelet, a pair of socks for Lincoln ... and this cute shirt!

It matched perfectly with his little red cuffed jeans. :)
