4th of July

The boys had been looking forward to fireworks for weeks and were so excited when it was finally the 4th! Mart was working hard to get ready to do the farmers market that weekend, it was also the cruise in so he wanted to be at the park where everyone was thinking it would be super busy. We decided to do a super low key 4th and then party on the 5th.

Jade bug dressed up in her festive outfit! Love her!

It was insanely hot and the boys were feeling cooped up, so we turned on the sprinklers and told them to run and cool off. It felt awesome!

Then we broke out the water guns and they were in little boy heaven.

While the boys played, Mart slaved away on projects.

That night, all of our neighbors started lighting off fireworks. We went outside and got to watch them from every direction! The boys LOVED it!

Saturday night after the farmers market, we threw a big kabob bbq and once it was dark enough, we lit off our own fireworks in the street.

The boys were so excited it was finally time for sparklers!

After everyone left, we setup Traves' projector and watched Independence Day in the backyard!

Happy 4th of July!
